I saw this contest tweeted and since I’m such a bag whore, I thought why not? I definitely deserve to win a designer handbag from The Trendy Purse. 

I checked out their site and they had some great deals on some great bags. I had a hard time just picking one, so I picked three! Here are the three purses that I would choose if I won:

Alright, well I didn’t do such a great job aligning these all pretty or anything, but anywhores. I love all three of these bags equally. I chose the Yves Saint Laurent because it was so darn cute. And Yves Saint Laurent, c’mon now. Bronze is the new black people and it’s super hot.

I chose the Fendi because I will always hold a soft spot in my heart for Fendi. That was my first, honest to goodness, designer bag that I ever owned. Truly, old skool Fendi. I still have the matching wallet, which was stolen from me and after they took all the goods from it, put it in a dumpster that got emptied in Brooklyn. Some guy who worked at the dump found it and my ID was still in it, so he Fedex’d the wallet back to me. I’ve got memories with Fendi.

I chose the Christian Dior because it looks really retro to me. I used to love round purses and it brings me back. Plus, I don’t own any Dior so this would be the perfect addition to my collection.

Decisions, decisions. But I guess I have to win the contest first, so here we go. Drum roll please…….

The Top 5 Reasons Why I Should Win a Designer Handbag from The Trendy Purse!

Reason 5 – I’m single. I need a cute bag to use when I go out on dates. These are all versatile and will match a ton of my outfits. Plus they are all good brands, don’t want my date to think he can get away cheap Just kidding.  But alot of prep goes into dating and the perfect bag is essential. It needs to hold the lipstick, the cell phone, the condoms, etc.

Reason 4 – I’d make my sister jealous. She never wins any contests or anything like and she would be totally green with envy if I won a $500 purse from The Trendy Purse. I’d also make all the gals at work extremely jealous. They are always commenting on my new bags, where did you get it, blah, blah. It’d be sweet to tell them I won it!

Reason 3 – I had a bag tradgedy recently. I bought this sweet little orange purse from Coach, complete with matching wallet. It was kind of a soft leather. I went to go get my nails done and in the midst of them all talking about me in Vietnamese (you know they all do that) they dripped oil on my bag which I didn’t realize till after I left. It was a small spot, but you could definitely notice it. I called Coach and they told me to take liquid Ivory soap and rub it over the stain then take a damp cloth and rub it out. Well I tried that and it made it that much worse. Nothing they can do to fix it and they wouldn’t even replace it for me:(

Reason 2 – I’ve had a rough go of it lately at work. I was due for a bonus and I didn’t get any of it. I ddin’t meet all my goals for the quarter and they docked my damn bonus. Nevermind the fact that I’ve never hit all my goals and still got a portion of the bonus. No, that didn’t matter. I was cheated.

Reason 1 – I am the Angelina Jolie of bag adoption. I have a ton and most of my bags (also referred to as my children) are from Italy. It way super-cooler to adopt the way I do it. I make a one time investment and get a lifetime of use out of them. I love them all so much and could never bear to be apart from them. I have all the original boxes, they all get put neatly back in my closet when they are taken out of rotation for a little while to let a new addition take the spotlight. If only I could persuade Brad Pitt to join me, I’d be all set!
