Came over from Venus vs. Mars and I just had to comment because I can totally relate to this post. Although my high school had a football team and lockers. The one I had to add that fooled me was the movie Pure Country. I had this crazy idea that when I moved to the country that I would fall in love with a sexy cowboy who looked like George Strait, have a cute country house with a white picket fence on a bunch of acres, make biscuits and gravy for breakfast every day, and have crazy sex that involved cowboy boots, 10 gallon hats and cattle roping. What an inspired post. Seriously. When I am really into a book/movie/tv show my imagination starts to run rampant. The biggest misconception is if you are a woman and a hardass, and don't let anyone in, that at SOME point, SOME guy will be so intrigued and just have to get to know you better, and he'll be super hot too. Case in Point - 10 Things I Hate About You, She's All That, Darlene from Roseanne (I always thought David was so cute) and probably a million others. Love it! God could this BE more true?
